How we chooseThe Ruby Ranch is a permaculture farm and horse-centric boarding facility on 21 acres in Candler, North Carolina, west of Asheville. Boarding follows a Paddock Paradise track system, with horses living outdoors around the clock with shelter and constant access to hay, rather than in stalls. The property has an outdoor arena, a pavilion and a hacking trail, and the ranch also runs riding lessons and camps.
